Bell River Estate is a boutique winery specialising in fortified wine. The winery is located in a converted hay shed while the cellar door tasting area is underground. Although the liquor licence goes back to 1950, Sandra and Michael Banks have produced wines here since 2000. They produce a range of tawnies including Reserve Tawny with Rum and Reserve Whisky Tawny. Their white fortifies are also very popular – especially their Liqueur Chardonnay and Ginger Sundowner.
