The fabulously renovated Brunswick Picture House is a mixed arts venue with adjoining cafe. Events include live theatre, kids’ shows, cabaret, documentaries and classic films. After laying dormant for over 30 years, the curtains lifted on this old theatre in March 2016 and it began a new lease on life, lovingly restored by the creative team behind the award-winning, internationally-acclaimed circus/cabaret sensations La Soire and Club Swizzle. Having survived the wreckers ball and the ravages of time, this iconic building s revival has set the stage for a vibrant and charismatic mix of film, circus, cabaret, music and family-friendly entertainment. Already the Brunswick Picture House is a a local landmark for the community, for people to meet, be inspired, gossip, laugh and be entertained. Dedicated to putting the fun back into going to a show or the cinema, the Brunswick Picture House has re-emerged, re-imagined and better than ever.
