Sapphire Coast cast its blissful spell on Tom and Sara the minute they first visited the area and saw its unspoilt beaches, secret fishing spots and specialty cafes. Having first lived on a property on the Brogo River, 50km inland from Bermagui, they have proudly been managing the park since 2017.
“We immediately felt at home,” said Sara.
“Moving here was a no-brainer. This place has a soul, it calms you right down. And we see it in our visitors all the time.”
“Though for some Bermagui may seem like an off the beaten track holiday destination, it really is an ideal spot for a wide array of outdoor activities and we always look forward to sharing with first time guests the experiences found right here on their caravan doorstep.”
The fantastic location of the park, with everything you need just a short stroll away, is clearly a contributing factor in helping people switch off and relax.
“Living in Bermagui with our two children we are fortunate enough to enjoy all that The Sapphire Coast offers ourselves – from kayaking to surfing the town really has it all, and don’t get us started on the amazing vantage points come Whale Watching season,” said Tom.
Whilst the warm and safe waters of Horseshoe Bay are a major drawcard for visitors to the Park, Tom and Sara are a wealth of knowledge of the treasures of the area, from the famous Blue Pool to the Bermagui Fishermen’s Wharf..
“Bermagui is truly a world away from our previous lives operating cattle stations in the Northern Territory and an Arnhem Land Aboriginal Arts and Crafts Centre near Kakadu but we certainly enjoy waking up every morning and breathing in the fresh ocean air,” Sara said.
Reflections Holiday Parks Bermagui has certainly evolved over the years, and it’s gaining quite the reputation as a must-visit on the Sapphire Coast. Discover Bermagui for yourself and book your South Coast holiday today.
