The NSW Minister for Health and Medical Research, The Hon. Brad Hazzard, MP, has now confirmed the NSW position on caravan parks and camping grounds. He has made an Order under the Public Health Act 2010 which now bans mass gatherings, places restrictions on other gatherings and requires the closure of caravan parks and camping grounds.
Therefore, from Midnight 26 March 2020, caravan parks and camping grounds in NSW must not be open to the public except permanent residents and their visitors and people who have no other place of permanent residence.

John and Robyn recently returned to the NSW South Coast to manage Reflections Holiday Parks Eden, after four years working on the North Coast of NSW with Reflections Holiday Parks. Though they loved their time on the North Coast, particularly the warmer winters, they decided it was time to return to the South Coast they love so much.
“The South Coast is still virtually untouched with its pristine beaches, amazing national parks, wildlife and abundance of walking trails” said Robyn.
“Our guests are guaranteed their own peaceful spot on the beach, with plenty of places to go fishing, surfing, paddle boarding or simply to wander along the beach and enjoy the sound of the waves lapping against the shore.”
With a lake on one side and a beach on the other, the park’s waterfront location, along with its large, flat camping sites, are just two of the features John and Robyn like to show off to visitors.
“Surrounding the lake is a wonderful 3 kilometre boardwalk which is perfect to explore both on your early morning run or riding your bike,” said John
“End your day cooking up some sausages on our barbeques in the camp kitchen which overlooks the lake, the perfect spot for a relaxing bite to eat. With our new playground adjacent, there’s no need to stress about the little ones as you can easily keep an eye on them while you cook up a feast.”
Having worked in the hospitality for 15 years and travelling extensively themselves, they are well aware of their guest’s needs and have set a high standard to make sure they offer the best holiday park experience possible.
So when’s the best time of year for visiting Eden? Whilst John and Robyn think any time of year is a good time, they agree there’s nothing quite like whale watching season.
“The whale watching here is incredible. They often come right into the bay so all you have to do is walk across the road to see them. If you want to be more adventurous you can take a whale watching tour with one of the many charter boats in the area,” said Robyn.
It really doesn’t matter how you choose to watch the whales, it’s always an awesome experience.”
See the whales, and prepare yourself to fall in love with the Sapphire Coast when you book your next holiday with Reflections Holiday Parks Eden.
