Just 30-minutes from Coffs Harbour, yet seemingly a million miles away, Reflections Holiday Parks Red Rock is about the important things in life – time with loved ones, lots of laughs, a loosening of the shoulders and lapping up this pristine coastal paradise.

This welcoming back-to-basics caravan park is the epitome of ‘convenient tranquillity’. It’s just a few kilometres from the highway but you won’t hear a sound. You’ll see stars like never before, kilometres of undeveloped coastline and water as crystal clear as you could imagine.

Find it all in the quaint town of Red Rock; a place that’ll take you back to the holidays of your childhood. Spend your days fishing, strolling, swimming or biking. Bring the surfboard, bring the snorkel, or simply bring a comfy chair and relax.

It’s the easiest thing in the world to spend time at Red Rock. The large private sites are ideal for campers and caravaners, or make yourself at home in one of our cabins.

Enjoy your beach side glamping experience in our all-in-one premium cabins and beach tents. Our deluxe cabins and tents have all the home comforts and amenities to make your holiday even more enjoyable.

The park’s facilities and activities are sure to make your stay a comfortable one and with the Corindi River on one side and the beach on the other, there are plenty of options to get back to nature.

There’s a general store opposite the park and a bowling club a short walk away so you may never need to leave Red Rock. But if you’re looking for a base to explore the wider Coffs Coast – its attractions, villages, markets and food and wine – you’ve come to the right place.

What time is check in/check out at the park?

Check in for both powered and unpowered sites at the park is from 11am, whilst cabins allow check in from 2pm onwards.

If you plan to arrive after office hours please let us know so that we can have all relevant documents waiting for your arrival.

Checkout from both Sites and Cabins is 10am.

What should I bring for my stay?

Preparing for a holiday can be a massive journey in itself, at Reflections Holiday Parks our aim is to ensure guests are as well equipped as possible before hitting the open road.

We recommend you bring fresh water for drinking for your stay, as our town of Red Rock decided to forgo water installation 30 years ago in order to maintain our pristine natural environment. Though we do have bore water on our sites we recommend this for washing up purposes only – otherwise you may utilise our water tanks when needed to refill your fresh water supply.

If you’re planning a stay in one of our cabins or beach tents we have many of the essentials covered, with linen, towels and kitchenware all provided. All you’ll need is some delicious treats, some comfy clothes, good company and a thirst for adventure.

For guests camping in your tent or setting up shop in your caravan  contact the park before you arrive to check what facilities are available in the Camp Kitchen. We also recommend packing a torch and spare batteries, your trusty First Aid Kit, plenty of Insect Repellant, Sun Screen and Hats to keep you sun safe and rubbish bags to keep the park tidy for the next guests on your site.

Oh, and don’t forget the tent pegs too!!

How many people are included in your base booking price?

Base booking prices for all accommodation types are listed for two people.

Where there are more than two people staying a fee increase will apply. Please contact us prior to booking for more information.

Do minimum night stays apply at your park?

Minimum night stays differ dependent on the time of year as per below. Feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.

  • Low Season – No minimum night stay during low season (except for the June/July school holidays – minimum 2 nights)
  • Shoulder (Mid) Season – Minimum 2 – night stay on Friday and Saturday One night stay available Sunday – Thursday (excluding Easter long weekend – 4 nights minimum, April School Holidays – 3 nights minimum and September School Holidays – 4 nights minimum)
  • Peak (High) season – (Dec/Jan) 7- night minimum all accommodation.
  • Peak (High) season – Easter long weekend minimum 4-night stay (Thursday – Sunday inclusive)
  • Peak (High) season – October long weekend minimum 3-night stay (Friday – Sunday inclusive)
Do you require a deposit at time of booking?

A deposit is required to secure each reservation. For all phone bookings, a deposit equal to the first night’s accommodation/site tariff must be paid at the time of making the reservation. Reservations will not be guaranteed without a deposit. We accept Visa and MasterCard for online and phone bookings. Please note if deposit if not paid by required date, your reservation will be cancelled.

For all online bookings payment must be made in full at time of booking and if bookings are cancelled, modified, or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Peak (High) Season

  • Dec/Jan Bookings – 1st nights tariff a time of booking with 50% due by the 31st August and final balance by the 31st October.
  • Easter Long Weekend – 1st nights tariff at time of booking with balance payable by 28th February.
  • October Long Weekend – 1st night tariff at time of booking with balance payable by the 31st

Low & Shoulder (Mid) Seasons

  • First night’s tariff at time of booking and balance payable on arrival. Excluding April and September school holidays where full tariff is payable 30 days prior to arrival.
Do you take group bookings?

Group bookings are highly encouraged at our park, though please note that deposit amounts will vary depending on the total of your booking cost. Group deposits will fall into one of three categories: −

  • Bookings under $1,000.00 – Deposit equivalent to the first night stay
  • Bookings $1,000 – $5,000 – Deposit of $1,000.00
  • Bookings over $5,000.00 – Deposit of $2,000.00 with further deposit requirements to be confirmed at time of booking

Final Payments and final numbers MUST be received no later than 30 days prior to arrival. Final payment includes all monies owing for accommodation or additional group and function charges.

All cancellations and/or refund requests must be provided in writing.

Cancellations providing more than 4 weeks’ notice to the arrival date will forfeit the initial deposit paid. Cancellations providing less than 4 weeks’ notice to the arrival date will forfeit all monies paid.

In the instance of a part-cancellation, the manager of the park reserves the right to adjust any tariff that had been previously agreed upon based on the renewed number of bookings or total guest’s numbers.

Cancellation fees may also be held against accommodation that is no longer required depending on the length of notice given to the property.

Will I receive a confirmation at time of booking?

Yes. Once your booking has been processed by the park you will be sent a booking confirmation via email.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you wish to change any details of your booking, please contact our parks directly. We will do our best to assist you, but cannot guarantee that changes can be made. Please note that bookings in certain time periods, or for certain room types cannot be changed; however, in some instances, changes may be permitted but a charge could be imposed.

Peak (High) Season Bookings

Cancellations where at least 28 days written notice has been provide are refundable less a $45 administration fee or a credit for the full amount to be used towards a future booking (to be used within a 12-month period). Cancellations giving less than 28 days’ notice will forfeit all monies paid.

Shoulder (Mid) Season Bookings

Cancellations where at least 14 days written notice has been provided are refundable less a $45 administration fee or a credit for the full amount to be used towards a future booking (to be used within a 12-month period). Cancellations giving less than 14 days’ notice will forfeit all monies paid.

Can I rebook my stay next year?

For guests wishing to rebook for the following year in either the December/January, Easter and September/October School Holiday periods, the following rebooking procedure applies:
<ul>
<li>Complete a rebooking form available from reception prior to departure to secure your site/cabin for the same period the following year, along with your deposit to confirm your booking with us.</li>
<li>If you decide not to rebook with us prior to your departure, your cabin/site will be made available for other bookings.</li>
</ul>
Due to high occupancy during these periods, we do encourage you to rebook with us prior to departure to avoid disappointment.

Reflections Holiday Parks Red Rock Park Managers

A former optical engineer from the United States, Geoff and his Australian wife Kylie were living in inner-city Sydney with their two young daughters when they were driven to make a sea-change.

“We wanted to give our kids the ideal Australian upbringing and managing a caravan park was a bit of a childhood dream for Kylie. I soon found myself thinking ‘well, if you can’t support your wife’s dreams, what good are you?’” laughs Geoff.

Geoff and Kylie have been managing  Red Rock Holiday Park since 2013, with the favourite part of their job being their clientele, many of whom return year after year.

“It’s so satisfying to be involved in somebody’s holiday and to become part of their memories with their family and friends. They come to be happy and we get to be a part of that,” he said.

“We always say to our returning guests ‘welcome home’. And they look at you and say ‘yeah, this is home’. I love Christmas for that reason. It’s busy sure, but when you have 460 of your closest friends in your backyard at New Years’ nothing could be better.”

The peace and quiet, the natural beauty, the friendly atmosphere, the proximity to Coffs Harbour; there are many reasons Red Rock is renowned as a holiday destination. But at its essence, according to Geoff, is the simplicity of the experience.

“I don’t have a swimming pool, I don’t have a jumping pillow. All I have is a river on one side, the ocean on the other, great fishing, paddling and bushwalking and at night you don’t hear a car go by. It’s so still and tranquil, and our guests love it.”

And Geoff’s favourite thing about Red Rock? The stars.

“Red Rock doesn’t have a lot of lights, so you see stars that most people never see in their lifetime. I love looking up and seeing the Milky Way and all those beautiful stars,” he said.
