Reflections CEO Nick Baker emphasizes the event's alignment with their motto, "Life's Better Outside." The competition not only supports youth through thrilling surf action but also invites spectators to enjoy the coastal ambiance. Saturday night, starting at 4 pm, there will be 'Eats and Beats' zone at Reflections Bonny Hills park—featuring food trucks, live music, and epic views. This adds a laid-back vibe to the overall excitement, ensuring an unforgettable experience.

Surfest director Warren Smith reveals a prize purse of AUD3,900 and additional rewards for finalists in all divisions. This competition holds significance in the Surfing Australia ranking system, offering a fair format where no competitors face elimination in the first round.
