The Vintner's Daughter

The Vintner s Daughter was established by husband and wife team, Steph Helm and Ben Osborne, in 2014 in the village of Murrumbateman. Both are accomplished wine industry professionals Ben has over a decade of experience managing vineyards and Steph made her first wine when she was just 9 years old, following in the footsteps of her winemaker/vintner father, Ken Helm. With Stephanie as winemaker and Ben as viticulturist together they control the entire process from vine to glass.

With vines dating back to 1978 and situated next to some of Murrumbateman s most renowned vineyards, the Vintner's Daughter picturesque vineyard is ideal for creating premium wines. They produce some of the flagship and traditional wine styles of the Canberra District i.e. Riesling and Shiraz but also pride themselves on their innovative approach to styles such as Pinot Noir, Gewrztraminer, Ros, Sparkling Chardonnay and Fortified Shiraz. All wines are produced on-site.

Reflecting their vine to glass philosophy the Vintner's Daughter sells almost exclusively direct to customers through their on-site cellar door. Enjoy a tasting overlooking the vineyard and their menagerie of farm animals, including emus! You can also book a deluxe winery tour or morning farm tour for a real behind-the scenes experience with the winemaker Stephanie. Open Friday to Sunday, 10am to 4pm.
