Grounds Workers – Grabine Lakeside

We are seeking experienced Grounds Workers, for full time permanent or casual positions to work at our Grabine Lakeside park. Critical to our operations, these roles form part of our wider mission to provide exceptional experiences through exceptional service and upkeep of our parks. The successful candidates may be required to also work at Grabine’s sister park, Wyangala Waters.

The successful candidates will be responsible for a high standard of friendly and welcoming customer service, the areas of responsibility for these roles include:

  • Undertaking general grounds maintenance and repairs, including water supply, buildings and other facilities;
  • Upkeep of guest amenities and conducting routine inspections;
  • Repairs and servicing of parks’ plant and other machinery;
  • Operate plant and equipment;
  • Maintenance of gardens and trees to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff;
  • Carry out security checks and patrols of the park;
  • Assist and direct visitors within the park;
  • Provide excellent customer service;

Senior Project Manager – Capital Works

We currently have an opportunity to join our Newcastle office in the role of Senior Manager – Capital Works.

Reporting to the Executive Manager – Capital Works, you will be responsible for delivering holiday park redevelopments and managing multiple concurrent capital works and maintenance projects. Projects you can expect to lead delivery of include:

  • installation of manufactured cabins or glamping tents and other innovative accommodation offerings,
  • delivery of playgrounds, pools, foreshore rejuvenation and major landscaping / beautification works,
  • civil road works and boat ramps,
  • water, wastewater and power upgrade projects, including piping, treatment plants, solar farms, and substations,
  • new building works, from kiosks, offices, public amenities upgrades to fuel stations.
  • delivery of innovative environmental tourism offerings, such as mountain bike trails and walking tracks

This role involves routine travel across operational locations in NSW to fulfill the requirements of the role.

Guest Services & Housekeeping Officers – Hawks Nest/Jimmys Beach

We are seeking experienced Guest Services and Housekeeping Officers to work across both our Hawks Nest and Jimmys Beach parks. Critical to our operations, these roles form part of our wider mission to provide exceptional experiences through exceptional service. We are currently recruiting Casual roles.

The successful candidates will be responsible for a high standard of friendly and welcoming customer service, the areas of responsibility for these roles include:

  • Provide exceptional customer service including liaising with guests face to face and via telephone;
  • Guest check-in through Newbook;
  • Undertake general office duties, banking and cleaning of office/kiosk;
  • Assist Park Manager and Supervisors with the opening and closing of office and kiosk/store;
  • Receiving and dispensing of monies via computerised point of sale register;
  • Assist supervisor with stock take and invoicing for kiosk, store, cabin, office and cleaning equipment and chemicals;
  • Undertake housekeeping duties including linen, cleaning interior and exterior of cabins;
  • Assisting as required in the cleaning of guest amenities;
  • Ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained;
  • Follow work health and safety procedures; identifying hazards and assessing and controlling safety risks.

The successful applicants may be subject to a National Criminal History Check and a Pre-Employment Medical Assessment including Functional Capacity or will have to provide evidence of recent successful assessments. Financial Accountant

We currently have an opportunity to join our Newcastle office in the role of Financial Accountant. This Full Time, Fixed Term (minimum 10 months – maternity leave coverage)  role includes management and financial reporting, fixed asset and project accounting, systems and business support.  Your technical skills paired with a can-do attitude will ensure your success, producing highly accurate information, meeting deadlines and reporting requirements.

In this role, you will:

  • Assist in completing monthly accounting functions to ensure that deadlines and timetables are met.
  • Engage in the development of a business intelligence analysis tool, including revenue, occupancy, labour, etc.
  • Lead the preparation of annual financial statements and year end audit processes in accordance with both GPFRs and NSW Treasury requirements.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders regarding financial reporting and related compliance matters.
  • Monitor and assist in the development and review of financial management systems and accounting policies and procedures.
  • Review project costing and maintain ledgers including asset disposals, impairment and/or reviews of remaining life.
