CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES

Operations Support Coordinator

We currently have an opportunity to join our Newcastle office in the role of Operations Support Coordinator. Reporting to the Executive Manager – Regional Parks, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and will operate as the primary point of contact at Head Office for Park Managers.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide day-to-day support for the Operations Management Team
  • Provide analytical and technical support to the management team to ensure compliance with industry regulations, as well as manage ongoing adherence and updates on Section 68 compliance and approvals
  • Advise, brief and make recommendations to the Operations Management Team on opportunities and issues relating to the management of the Operations program
  • Coordinate the Operations SharePoint platform as a single point of reference for operational ways-of-working
  • Provide support and updates on the implementation of consultant reports
  • Work with Contracts Manager to ensure ongoing upkeep of all park agreements, leases and licenses
  • Provide support on projects as required
  • Assist Safety Team with the coordination of Safety Program delivery

This role provides the opportunity to travel across operational locations in NSW to expand your understanding of the business and improve the support provided at an operations level.

Book Keeper – Payables

We currently have an opportunity to join our Newcastle office in the role of Book Keeper – Payables. Reporting to the Finance Administration Team Leader you will be responsible for assisting the finance department with book keeping, monthly financial reporting tasks, and payroll relief.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Oversee the processing of invoices and payment including follow up queries
  • Preparation and posting of weekly payment-runs of supplier invoices
  • Reviewing purchase requisitions and creating purchase orders
  • Reconcile and process monthly corporate credit card statements and enter into accounting system
  • Preparation and timely processing of adhoc revenue invoices, including invoices for private users of crown reserves within payment terms
  • Reconcile key corporate accounts and process the transactions through the finance system
  • Complete end of month procedures to assist team in finalising monthly financials
  • Assisting with weekly and monthly reporting
  • Liaise with Operations team regarding financial matters directly relating to their areas of responsibility
  • Assist with the reconciliation of multiple bank accounts
  • Back up Accounts Receivable function
  • Provide relief for the Payroll Officer
