We exist for environmental good

We live and breathe our motto Life’s Better Outside because, well, it just is.

We are committed to helping communities and their many volunteers to protect the pristine pockets of nature we share with them because future generations rely on our collective efforts.

Did you know that most of the land Reflections cares for, has no holiday park but are just nature reserves?

Life’s Better Outside, as we say, and we care deeply about making a positive difference in the environment we live and work in.

We are the caretakers

We are caretakers of a total 24,187 acres of land and 94 percent of it (to be precise, 8686 hectares) is coastal and inland reserve that lies on Crown land.

The remaining 6 percent of land, or 593 acres, is where our holiday parks are located. We care for 45 Reserves and operate 37 parks in total.

Striving for B Corp

You may know that we are striving to achieve B Corp certification, which involves meeting high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency.

But all you really need to know is that everything we do relates to caring for the community and their immediate environment.

Climate Change & Our Footprint

Climate change resilience

We’re committed to building climate change resilience in the land we care for, and our Reconciliation Action Plan is investigating how we can work with local Indigenous peoples in land management.

Reducing our environmental footprint

We strive to reduce our environmental footprint by taking steps to minimize the impact of our infrastructure, equipment, and materials used across our parks. We constantly review our cabin designs and features to minimise our footprint.

Our maintenance strategy includes initiatives to identify more energy-efficient solutions and opportunities to provide cleaner, greener outcomes for the long term.

Supporting Volunteers & Community Groups

We support volunteers and community groups to deliver recycling programs and we’re always looking for new ways to engage with community for common environmental goals.
