Reflections recognises the ongoing living cultures of Australia’s First People and their unique cultural and spiritual relationships to place.
Our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)
In 2023, we launched our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) to ensure the interests of Indigenous people are protected, with tangible benefits for their communities.
The RAP focuses on developing opportunities for cultural expression and helping to protect cultural heritage. It’s also committed to delivering social, cultural and economic outcomes for Aboriginal communities.
The RAP includes cultural training for Reflections staff, participation in local community events, engagement of Aboriginal service providers, and exploring traditional land management practices.

Getting started
As part of our Quadruple bottom line, Early initiatives of our cultural tourism program include commissioning large murals by an Aboriginal artist at Reflections’ Jimmys Beach.
Reflections will deliver its learnings to Crown Lands to help guide other Crown Land Managers to partner with Aboriginal people.
We can’t tell you how excited we are about that prospect, and we can’t wait to see how we can work together, one step at a time, on the road to Reconciliation.

We pay our respect to Elders past and present and are committed to building positive, sustainable relationships with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities within NSW.
