Step back in time and follow Stuart Town’s history, her early settlers and the gold rush in pictures at Boehme’s Hall. Discover the personalities of Ironbarks, as the town was formerly known, and the Hall’s namesake, Charles Henry Boehme ‘a quaint little man of fantastic ideas and a heart of gold’, who immigrated to Australia from Silesia, Central Europe, to become a celebrated member of the community.
Boehme’s Hall is open Tuesdays (Craft Day) and Saturdays with morning tea available on Saturday mornings.
Also take the time to visit the Open Air Museum, which is next to Boehme’s Hall.
Boehme’s Hall also offers free camping with hot showers and toilets to travellers.
