Exceptional Booking Enquiries

The NSW Minister for Health and Medical Research, The Hon. Brad Hazzard, MP, has now confirmed the NSW position on caravan parks and camping grounds. He has made an Order under the Public Health Act 2010 which now bans mass gatherings, places restrictions on other gatherings and requires the closure of caravan parks and camping grounds.

People who are travelling under the two people visitation rule may stay in our caravan park or camping ground as overnight travellers.

The NSW Government has specified that there is no limit on the distance that a person may travel to visit another household, so long as it is only two adults and their children visiting one other household. In addition, overnight stays at someone’s home are not prohibited, however travelling for the purpose of a holiday is not allowed.

Therefore, caravan parks and camping grounds in NSW must not be open to the public except for the purposes of accommodating:

  • Permanent residents of the caravan park or camping ground,
  • Overnight travellers
    • Travelling under the two person visitation rule
    • Returning to their usual place of residence
  • Persons working in the local area,
  • Other persons who have no other place of permanent residence or whose primary place of residence is temporarily unavailable, and
  • Day Visitors to the persons set out above.

Reflections has stopped all online bookings as we are required to verify that the reason for the booking is in accordance with the government’s restrictions above.
