But it doesn’t have to be that way. If you’re staying at Reflections Holiday Parks Massy Greene in Brunswick Heads you’ll be spoilt for choice for things to keep them entertained and engaged.

Here’s some of our favourite family-friendly options for fun times at Massy Greene.

1.Head to the river

The jewel in Massy Greene’s crown, the Brunswick River is a water playground for all ages. Go for a paddle, teach the kids to fish, or let them swim in the safe, sheltered waters of the sandy beach.

2.Climb and clamber

Massy Greene Holiday Park features a fantastic playground, perfect for kids who still have energy to burn. Let them slide, bounce and climb to their heart’s content.

3.Pack a picnic

Brunswick Heads has plenty of top picnic spots. The Brunswick River Picnic Area, in Brunswick Heads Nature Reserve, is popular for its beautiful views and stunning flora and fauna.

4.Get pedalling

Whether it’s for cruising around the park, or exploring further afield, Brunswick Heads’ flat terrain is ideal for biking. BYO, or hire some from the Brunswick Heads Bicycles.

5.Look for fairies

Yep, you heard that right. Kids love the Brunswick Heads Fairy Trail. Follow the clues and see how many fairy houses can be found in nooks and crannies around town.

6.Visit Torakina Park

An easy 10-minute walk from Massy Greene, Torakina Park is the perfect spot for a picnic, a refreshing river swim, or some afternoon ballgames on the lawns.

7.Learn to surf

Get your older kids (around six and up) out on the waves with a surfing lesson. Nothing beats riding a wave for the first time and it’ll be hard to wipe the smiles off their faces.

8.Visit Hotel Brunswick

Kids will love the ‘Bruns Backyard’ at the Hotel Brunswick, with its fibreglass clinker boats just perfect for climbing. The bistro also serves a range of kid-friendly meals.

9.Go to the farm

Not just any farm. ‘The Farm' at Byron Bay is a working farm where the kids can learn how their food is grown and produced. Meet the farmers and say hello to the resident animals.

10.Skate and scoot

Located on the outskirts of town, the Brunswick Heads skatepark features a huge 6ft bowl, as well as a box, triangle, ledges and rails.

They say you’re only as happy as your least happy child and that certainly feels true on holiday. Plan some kid-friendly fun when you stay at Massy Greene Holiday Park and watch the whole family reap the benefits.
