Originally from Melbourne, and more recently the NSW South Coast, Eddy and Justine recently decided to embark on a new adventure Reflections Holiday Parks Seal Rocks, instantly falling in love with the surfing town when they arrived in May.
“I originally come from a customer service background and Eddy has been working within the community services sector so we are excited to embark on this new challenge managing such a beautiful park,” Justine said.
“As campers ourselves we’ve been looking to get into holiday park management for quite some time so immediately jumped at the opportunity when it was offered to us. We’ve spent plenty of time as guests at holiday parks ourselves so we are looking forward to offering the amazing hospitality we’ve been given ourselves to our own guests.”
Recent refurbishments at the park has seen numerous infrastructure improvements, from our beachfront camp kitchen, stunning new villas and an amazing playground for both the young and the young at heart.
“The park has gone through a huge transformation, and returning guests are blown away by the changes. But it hasn’t changed Seal Rocks either. It’s stayed true to what makes this place so special, and given it a much-needed face-lift,” said Eddy.
One thing that makes Seal Rocks so special, according to Eddy, are the whale sightings; with fin waves and tail slaps clearly visible from the parks’ front cabins during the annual whale migration.
“They come into the bay to rest out of the currents, so we see plenty. Last year we counted 12 whales by lunchtime. You never get sick of it!”
The relaxed vibe of the village is another aspect Eddy and Justine are unlikely to tire of.
“The mobile reception is not that good here. That frustrates some people, some people come here for that reason. My advice? Put your phone down, go for a swim, sit on the deck, and switch to ‘Seal Rocks Time’,” Justine said.
“Our guests with really fast-paced lives can’t believe what it’s like when they first visit. Then they come back every year: it becomes a true happy place perfect for relaxing and making treasured memories.”
Maybe it can be your holiday sanctuary too? Book your Reflections Holiday Parks Seal Rocks accommodation and find out what life is like on ‘Seal Rocks Time’.
